BEING PUT INTO PLACE – January 16, 2019
The Switchblade, like any powered vehicle, has a lot of parts that go into it. As we get closer to being done, the number of parts increased to the point where we had to re-organize our parts and hardware to be able to keep track of things. We also are planning for future production which will require us to keep track of a constant flow of thousands of parts.
To handle this, we have been working late nights to get a well-proven Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software program up and running that will enable us to predict part and material purchasing, track orders, and provide fulfillment of parts and payments so we can expand more easily to handle that flow. Dana Beebe, Switchblade Owner and management consultant, is shown above reviewing the progress and helping with the implementation. We are all pretty hands-on here, so we just pitch in and get it done.
