THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS – August 31, 2018

Our laminated safety glass windshield was delivered, so we removed the plastic windshield from the flying prototype and placed the glass windshield on the vehicle to check for fit. It fit beautifully and looks like it will be an easy install. It comes with a black border to it around the edges, like most automobiles have. Pro-Curve Glass did a great job shaping the windshield so that it would be optically correct to look through, but still fit the edges of the windshield at the body.

Above, Dana Beebe (left) and Kevin Abraham are shown placing the new windshield onto the body. There is a plastic anti-scratch cover film over the glass to protect it while being handled. This of course is to be removed before driving or flying! Can’t you just imagine the view?
