SWITCHBLADE SEAT DESIGN – August 18, 2020
Engineering Aide Henri Carrette (far left) recently assisted us with doing the phase 1 initial design for the Switchblade production seats. Here you can see the seat in CAD, with the seat-back (reclining) motor highlighted in blue. Our seats need to give support, be safe, be adjustable, and withstand a hard landing. They will go through many phases of design and engineering. For those of you who aren’t Mechanical Engineers, you might be amazed with all the work and expertise required for a project like this!
