That description is not far off. The second tail test had us place a total of 1,000 pounds on the horizontal portion of the tail. That means this small carbon fiber structure weighing about 30 pounds supported 33 times its weight! That is like a 175 lb person supporting 5,775 pounds! Super Tail!!
This very short time lapse shows you what took under 10 minutes to accomplish in real time. The 50 lb sand bags were gently placed in the exact locations indicated, at precisely the same time. Well done to the heavy lifters David & Tanner (left side), Phillip & Ronald (right side) and Sean and Bart (on the ladders) – each of whom lifted a total of 2,000 pounds. Another intense test, passed!
