ALTERNATE ENGINE PIECES – November 17, 2020

When we shift to the alternate engine, it will require quite a few new pieces to be made. We are already in the works on this, and shown in this image is a bracket that was designed to save weight in a cover plate. In the Solidworks program, this bracket is being analyzed for strength, as it is a metal piece used to absorb force, allowing the rest of the cover plate to be a lighter-weight material. The coloration shows areas of varying stress and the entire part has a high safety factor.
