Once the modifications to the prototype’s rear bulkhead were done, the interior faces of the bulkhead needed to have extra plies of carbon placed to make the front side just as strong as the rear-facing surface. Here Steve Lorentzen is shown measuring, marking, and cutting a template he’ll use in cutting the carbon fiber cloth to the exact shape needed.
