TEST PILOT REVIEW – January 11, 2021
Samson’s test pilot, Ron McElroy, spent this last Saturday at the R&D hangar to review progress to date. One of the items was our new props from Sterna Propellers, and Ron (right) is shown reviewing the prop with Samson Founder Sam Bousfield.
Ron also saw images of one of our earlier ground test props from Sterna that had been hit with a chunk of metal while spinning at full speed. He was impressed that there was limited damage to the prop, which he felt was totally repairable. Ron’s input over the years has helped us attain a higher level of professionalism, which we are very grateful for.
