FRONT & REAR SUSPENSION INSTALLED – February 22, 2019
The rear suspension was added as a final installation to the rear tube frame. In the image above, you can see the shock absorber (black cylinder), brake calipers, and rotors that are part of this installation.
Up to this point, we have installed the suspension, taken it out, installed it again, etc. This is due to our need to fit this package together for the first time. Now that it all fits, we are just installing the items after painting them, so we can get the vehicle ready for first flight. In the image below, Chief Builder Ron Burch (left), Sean Bliss (middle), and Kevin Abraham are shown working to complete that task. We were able to get both the front and rear suspension installed, and the Switchblade on its feet in preparation for final engine installation.
