SWITCHBLADE FLAP BRACKETS NEARLY DONE – February 21, 2020
You are looking at the flap controls on a square tube beam that supports this near the wing root (where wing and body meet). We went to a simple linear actuator system for the flaps, and designed and fabricated these brackets to connect the flap and actuator. The brackets are positioned, and loosely bolted. The bolts will be tightened after the assembly is installed the Switchblade, and the actuator is in place.
