SEATS IN THE WORKS – February 19, 2021
As you may have heard, the engineering team for the Switchblade has moved onto doing Production Engineering. As part of that, we have been working on seat design. We are taking advantage of the spectacular materials we have located to develop our own seats in-house, and David Nobles (right) – assisted by Sean Bliss – is shown grabbing measurements for the seating team. The seats shown are specifically for flight testing.
Our original seats were a custom one-off design. (Black and camel-colored) The goal is to make the new leather seats equally as beautiful and comfortable, but more economical to produce. Ask any automotive designer and they will tell you that seat design is a LOT of work!
