COMPLETING ONE OF THE FINAL STEPS ON THE SWITCHBLADE TAIL – February 13, 2020
As a parallel path to the acceleration testing, Phillip Mikula (left) and Ron Burch (right) have also been working on the rudders. It took two sets of skilled hands to route the motor control wire bundle for the rudder actuator, as shown here. They’re working at the bottom of the VT tail, where it connects to the tail boom. Another step DONE.
