ENGINE POSITIONED – December 28, 2020
Today the replacement 3-cylinder engine was settled into the Switchblade engine bay – inside the tube frame and behind the carbon body. Sean Bliss is shown positioning it so he could check clearance for the exhaust pipes that will route down and to the rear. Although just roughly positioned, we can use this to measure wire lengths, exhaust locations, fuel line lengths, and give a visual verification for heat source clearances. All of this will help us with a faster final installation coming up soon.
