“SHOCKING” NEWS – September 4, 2020
We are testing a new set of shock absorbers while the engine reinstall is being done. These shocks are from KING. Here you can see Dana Beebe assembling them in preparation for installing them on the prototype. The KING shocks are a bit heavier than our existing ones. As this is a change from what we Drop Tested before, we will be Drop Testing again, using our newly fabricated fixture.
Before that though, we will mount these new shocks on the Switchblade and check for ground handling and ride quality. We have had trouble maintaining ride height with the current shocks, which is the reason for looking at different ones.
