BETTER THAN A PUSHROD – April 27, 2020
As we work hard to complete every remaining task, we don’t like to take steps back that aren’t absolutely necessary. In this case, though, we found something so good we decided to put it to use right away. It actually is saving us time, as we had started to spend a lot of time tightening up the elevator pushrod connections, and now won’t have to. The push rods were replaced by a ball-bearing cable that is much smoother in operation. Sam Bousfield is checking the fit on the body-to-boom connection, and saw that it was exactly as planned.
