INTERCOOLER UPGRADE – April 10, 2020
The turbo compresses air to help make the engine breath better. When air is compressed, it heats up! The intercooler is like a radiator for the intake air, reducing the temperature before the intake air goes to the engine. Our previous intercooler had several leaks, which dropped pressure in the system and reduced power. We replaced the leaky one with this new intercooler, and have installed it into the engine bay. We expect to see higher boost pressure, and hope to see lower air temperatures.
