The Samson Switchblade is getting air under the tires! Hops are where you get up a small distance, wiggle the wings and settle back down on the runway. This helps to ensure that the vehicle is controllable before you take off and try to get airborne in any big fashion. We have achieved multiple hops with good success and are fine tuning the vehicle in the process, for even better performance. Due to the angle of this shot it’s a bit hard to see that all 3 tires are off the runway, but they are.
