The red vinyl wrap is off, and we are back to ‘basic black’ for the moment. In this case, doing taxi testing before flight tests can begin. (Wings are off and being painted.) We like the black look, but it is not the best color for carbon fiber parts in the sun (gets too hot). Not this type of carbon, anyway. Our future production parts will be made mostly of thermoplastic carbon fiber, which can withstand much greater temperatures to allow for almost any paint scheme.
