Mechanical Engineer Tanner Vaughn is re-pitching the propeller blades for a new series of static tests. The angle (or pitch) of the prop blades effects how aggressively they bite through the air. Our first tests of the 7-blade prop gave us a 28% increase in thrust over the 5-blade prop. With the new (less aggressive) pitch, we got an additional 4% thrust.
