As we are spraying our propeller chain drive with oil for the Switchblade flying sports car prototype, we had to design a cover to keep the oil from making a mess out of the engine compartment. The oil cools the chain, which gets heated up due to the forces on the chain, and the case recycles the oil and allows the oil to cool. In this video, you can see one of the main parts of the cover being printed using high-temperature plastic in a FLASHFORGE GUIDER II printer.
