To celebrate passing the FAA inspection (giving us approval for flight testing), and to bring the Team together for this new phase, we donned our new Switchblade Flight Test Crew yellow shirts. The Team was done assembling the vehicle and proving it is ready. We are now the team that is running a flight test operation. Different ‘hats’, you might say. Or shirts, in our case!
In the image above, most of the Team has their ‘shirt on’, but a few were still doing work that might get that flashy yellow shirt dirty, so they had not changed yet. The Switchblade was prepped for initial flight testing, set up for the high-speed taxi testing we were about to do, and rolled out of the hangar.
