We had a back project to do when we had time, so while we are waiting on a part for the engine assembly, our Composite Team is getting at the tube frame mounts inside the cabin. Bart Long is working to prep the rear bulkhead and roof and side wall. To this area we will put reinforcement to better transmit the bolt forces from the tube frame to the composite panels on roof and walls.
This wasn’t called for in engineering, but the Composite Team felt it would be a worthwhile improvement. We can show you how this will look as soon as the reinforcing tabs get bonded in place.
