Now that we’ve painted the majority of the carbon fiber parts for the Switchblade, we are bolting up the parts again so we can have a finished vehicle ready for FAA inspection. In this image we have both wings on, and more parts are being added all the time. It is amazing that you have to take apart an aircraft to such an extent just to paint it, but there are a lot of moving parts, and they need to be painted individually.
