The Switchblade body and tail were painted over the holiday weekend, and are now back in the hangar. The paint turned out great, thanks to our ‘painter’ (Samson Engineer Tanner Vaughn), Ronald Forseth, and much of the Samson Team who pitched in to prep the body for paint.
Similar to doing an event, 90% of the work is in preparation. In this photo, you can see some of the Samson Team going over the body and removing tape from areas being protected from the paint spray. The sheets of plastic covering the front hatch, windshield, and doors have already been removed.
