UPDATING SOFTWARE FOR THE FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS – June 28, 2022

Nick Leonard – Switchblade Owner and aircraft builder – flew up from California in the RV10 he built, to update the Dynon display. Nick is shown here updating the current system software, as well as installing the latest aviation flight information, which needs updating every 28 days.

As part of the flight testing process, some of the input sensors (i.e., Angle of Attack) may require fine tuning and are done after we begin flight testing. These items and validating many more flight parameters are accomplished during the minimum 40 hour as part of the overall flight testing program.
