Samson is working on stiffening the tail to prevent unequal loading (more pressure on one side than the other) from moving the tail slightly out of position, and causing poor flight characteristics. Here the tail is on its side, and being worked on where the vertical tail meets the tail boom. Excess carbon fiber is being trimmed away after having been placed onto the tail lower opening.
