CONNECTION TO FLY-BY-WIRE – November 24, 2018
This is the end of the tail rudder that connects to the fly-by-wire rudder system. You can see the bracket on this side of each of the two rudders shown in the image above. The welded pieces form a bracket connected to the rudders that is rotated by very powerful actuators (motors that move things). This is how the rudders will be operated to do their function of keeping the nose of the vehicle going the direction you want it to go.
