COOLING THE INTAKE – May 4, 2020
Dana Beebe is checking for locations for a larger intercooler on the Switchblade prototype. An intercooler is used to reduce the temperature of the incoming air after the turbo compresses the air and heats it up in that process. Our existing intercooler is working but we are losing a lot of power due to the air being hotter than it should be. A larger intercooler may be needed to drop heat and gain more horsepower.
