PILOT CONTROLS GOING IN – March 28, 2019
The Switchblade’s wings move, so getting the pilot controls out to the wing had to be done in a way so that the wing, when extended and locked into place, also locates the two sides (wing and body) of the pilot controls together. Above, Ron Burch is shown working on the body side of this equation. This section had to be adjusted so that the pilot side controls met the wing side controls, and all lined up as they should. When installed, this ensures that the controls are continuous from pilot to wing.
