NEW ENGINE, NEW MUFFLERS – March 19, 2021
The production engine for the Switchblade has a different sound than the V4 test engine and slightly different needs for a muffler. We chose a muffler system that allows a bit of tweaking for the engine, as we want to provide the engine with the same exhaust spec that it was designed for, even though ours is a different application. One muffler is smaller than the other, and both are adaptable. You can see in this image the two mufflers with propeller blades between them to show relative size.
