Since we had to put in the tube frame X-brace to stiffen the tube frame tail supports, the alternator had to find a new home. The X-brace ran right through where the alternator was! So we fabricated new alternator mount brackets, and are installing the alternator today. You can see in the image that the alternator (big black item on left side) is on the left side of the gold colored bracket below it.. The X-brace is crossing over on the right side where the alternator was.
