MOVING PLUGS AND MOLDS – January 7, 2020
We moved the huge plug for the rear ducted section of the Switchblade and some molds, from Portland to Prineville. You can see the plug on the rear of the flat bed truck. This plug will be stored until we need to make new molds for the rear section, in the future. A plug is like the master – it’s the final shape that someone wants to create and that molds are made from. This plug was made for us some time ago by CUG (Composites Universal Group) in Portland, OR. All molds for the carbon fiber parts for the rear body of the Switchblade were made off of it.
