FITS LIKE A GLOVE – February 3, 2021
The tube frame with the upper propeller shaft mount welded in place was bolted to the Switchblade body again, and the new engine lowered roughly into place to check fit. All looked fine, and we only spotted one item that may need a modification to fit well. There is an engine ventilation tube that may need to be redirected for clearance. The rest of the engine had what looked like sufficient clearance at all points.
We will know more as we get down into the engine mount locations, and exact positioning of the engine. It looks like a mid-engined sports car installation to us!
