While the engine testing is being done, our composite crew is working on the ducted fan inlet sections to allow major portions to be easily removed for inspection and maintenance of the engine, without removing the rear-ducted fan body. Our existing engine hatches were created for the earlier V4 engine, and are not quite adequate for the longer 3-cylinder engine we are using now.
