INTERCOOLER PIPING COMPLETED – April 23, 2021
The piping of the intercooler was finished today, and ready for testing. The intercooler is like a radiator for air and helps cool down the compressed air from the supercharger before it goes into the engine. The aluminum pipes are connected by silicone sections to make up this initial test setup for the engine.
Once we have a finalized setup, we will have all aluminum tubing made for production. In this case, the test intercooler is above the engine. We will likely change to the side of the engine bay once we establish the correct size of intercooler needed.
