KEEPING THE PARACHUTE PACK COOL – April 13, 2019
There are other pieces of equipment in the engine bay that we need to keep cool for long life, and one of those is the parachute pack. We removed the parachute pack from the engine bay to put a gold foil covering on its faces that might gain heat near the turbo. You can see that in the image above. The full-vehicle parachute pack was shaped to conform to the engine bay and ended up reminding us of a large state in the US. Anyone else think it does?
