Have you ever been on a trip that went by too quickly?  Or where you spent the majority of your time getting there and getting back home – limiting your actual time at your destination?  How about a trip that dragged out forever? Not so fun.  As children, when we were on family trips, my brother and sister and I would sometimes ask my parents the most frequently asked question of all time – “Are we there yet?”

Now, if you had a vehicle that you could drive when you wanted to drive and fly when you wanted to travel by air, it would put a whole new spin on travel. If you wanted to get somewhere in a short amount of time, you would simply fly, land and continue on the ground. Some sights are better viewed up close, so you would go to those by car. Others can be breathtakingly beautiful from the air.  Or if it was a scenic coastline, island or someplace you wanted to explore from both vantage points, you could do that.

With a Switchblade Flying Car, you could fly up to 175 mph, cruising at 160 mph. Driving is just like any other car – you travel as fast as the speed laws and safety allow.  A trip that might take 5 hours, with predictably bad traffic and not being able to travel directly to the destination, could become a 1 – 1 1/2 hour trip by air. My husband and I often travel between Northern California and Central Oregon. It’s a 9-10 hour drive but in a Switchblade it will be about a 2 hour flight.  It’s a whole new ballgame.

In addition to being able to travel fast, you can vary your pace, even flying at a more leisurely pace, landing and taking breaks every couple of hours. With a flying car, once you land you can drive directly to a restaurant, or place you want to visit, then go back to the airport (or another one if it’s closer) and carry on with your trip.

If I had to sum it up, I’d say that a flying car provides more travel options than any other vehicle – including choosing what pace you go.
