Hello Switchblade Family and Followers!
So here’s the scoop: After a smooth takeoff, test pilot Robert Moehle ascended to 500 ft and flew the Switchblade over the local countryside for almost 6 minutes, before a nice landing at the Grant County International Airport in Moses Lake, Washington. Honestly, that six minutes seemed like 20 and it was amazing to see the Switchblade far off in the sky as a little spec. The Samson Team was watching and filming from along the runway and then we greeted Robert upon his triumphant return.
From team captain and designer, Sam Bousfield: “Dreams do come true. I think this is your dream just as much as it is mine, so take a win! Together we made it happen, and I am sure we will all help bring it along until Switchblades are commonplace.”
We hope this awesome video makes you feel like you were there with us! Please feel free to share this widely, as this is good news! The world looks like it could use some good news right about now.
