With the test pilot assisting us to improve control feel on the ground before we fly, our changes to the control mechanisms had to be structurally tested before flight. We are reminded again that test flying is a matter of test, tweak, test, tweak, test until finally airborne. Today’s test for the tail rudders, (which point the nose left or right) was passed easily. Now on to the next structural test.
