Following the near daily updates on the prototype progress gives me great confidence that the Samson Sky Team is doing this the right way and will deliver the product as advertised.

The Switchblade Flying Sports Car is truly the stuff dreams are made of.  It creates opportunities previously not possible in the aviation world.  Backing out of your garage, a short drive to a local airport and 160 mph flight to another small airport, folding up the wings and driving to Mom’s house…like the Jetsons but better because it’s real!

The Switchblade eliminates many of the headaches and expenses of owning a regular airplane.  No hangar or tie-down required.  Nor a rental car at your destination. $5 Avgas and $50k engine overhauls? Nope!

For work, I can fly from a distant home over Southern California traffic to a small airport and drive 4 miles to LAX where my trip originates.

For play, my hobbies are kite surfing, snowboarding, and rock climbing. One of the first things I’ll do with the Switchblade is rock climb Joshua tree, snowboard Big Bear, and kite surf Ventura all on the same day just to do it!

Following the near daily updates on the prototype progress gives me great confidence that the Samson Sky Team is doing this the right way and will deliver the product as advertised. The dream is about to become true, and I am excited and grateful to be an early Owner and Switchblade Ambassador.

Back story on the photo: Ted’s uncle flew P-38s in WWII and got him into flying. He’s wearing his uncle’s flight suit, holding his photo.
