I have always looked to the skies and thought, ‘Those people are so lucky to be in that plane’.
Many people have asked me why my wife and I invested in the Switchblade, coming on board as Owners early on. Here’s my answer. When I was a kid I wanted to fly. (Like every kid, right?) Then my dad took us up in a small Cessna. What a way to start my dream. I have always looked to the skies and thought, ‘Those people are so lucky to be in that plane’.
When my son went off to college, I hated having a 6-hour drive to see him. But who could afford a plane with a child in college? So after his 4 years, I got the bug again. I looked at purchasing a plane to get my license in. I thought it would be best to learn in a plane I’d use all the time. Well, that didn’t go too well after I started finding out the price of hanger fees.
Then I heard about the Switchblade Pre-flight Offer. I called Sam Bousfield, the CEO, and checked the company out to be sure it was all real. After talking to my wife, I checked the company again and then became a Switchblade Owner.
Well, it’s getting close and I still don’t have my license so I might be getting it in my Switchblade. How fun will that be.
So to all you average guys out there, have you ever thought you might want to fly or own a plane? I hope you’ll reserve soon. You might also check with your friends or family to go in on it together and be the first in your city to have your own plane that you can fly and park in your garage.
