I’ve wanted a flying car ever since I saw Molt Taylor and his Aerocar, about 20 years ago, when I heard him speak at Oshkosh!

I’ve been following the Switchblade for about 4 years now and have visited Samson’s booth at EAA Oshkosh several times. I design and build things (machines, houses, etc.). Coming to the hangar, I saw just how complicated what they’re doing really is. I can’t wait to see the whole vehicle together as a unit.

Having a Switchblade will make it easier and quicker to travel anywhere we want to go. We’ll definitely make more trips to see our kids and grandkids. The Switchblade will turn a boring  7+ hour drive into a fun 2 ½ hour trip,  door-to-door. My wife was impressed with the roominess of the cabin and the incredible visibility the Switchblade has – much better than our current airplane. She’s looking forward to taking even more photographs when we fly.

I used to race Mazda RX-7 stock class, so I guess you could say I like speed. As I told Sam and Martha Bousfield, I’ll be really interested to take my Switchblade out on a winding road!
