The flaps are the movable parts of the main wing that you see rotating down and back when landing. The Switchblade has flaps, which are on each side of the body on the main wings, and need to move together.
While we wait for the upgrade parts for the engine-prop chain drive, we are replacing the electric flap actuators with a hydraulic system powered by a single electric motor. This way the flaps will be forced to move down and up at the same time and can’t get out of sync with each other.
