Legislation paving the way for flying cars in the US

Legislative bodies across the US are working to ensure that roadable aircraft can be easily registered and licensed in all 50 states. Two US companies (Samson Sky and Alef), and two European companies (Pal-V and Klein), are projected to start production in 2025.

Under the Jetson Bill, roadable aircraft are subject to the same registration and operational requirements as conventional vehicles when operating on state roads and highways.

Building upon the success of the Jetson Bill, Samson Sky has emerged as a driving force behind efforts to enact similar legislation in other states.

Collaborating with lawmakers across the country, the company is actively involved in drafting bills aimed at streamlining the integration of roadable aircraft into existing transportation frameworks.
