Excellent results so far!! We are not ready for flight testing quite yet, but needed to determine how fast we could accelerate on take-off. So, to sort that out and to check out the different systems including engine cooling, braking, ground handling at speed, and a host of other items, we took to the runway and began this series of tests. This was our first run, in which we used partial power and only accelerated to 50 mph. On our second run we reached 63 mph and then had to call it for the day due to overly strong winds.
Overall, we found reasonable acceleration and good ground handling. The engine cooling was more than adequate.
