No, not a B movie title. This describes what you see in the image, with metal alignment tools called clecos holding the piano hinges in place as the piano hinge is riveted to the carbon duct panels. When done, the Cleco pins will be removed, and the now-curved piano hinges will allow one portion of the carbon duct to be removed for easy engine maintenance. This type of piano hinge is commonly used in aircraft and while we are utilizing it on the prototype it has not yet been decided if we’ll use it on production Switchblades.
