STATIC TEST OF NEW SWITCHBLADE SHOCKS – September 17, 2020
The new KING shocks were installed in the Switchblade today, and we did a simple static test to check if they would handle the passenger weight without sagging, which they did. We have several sizes of springs to choose from, and will be testing different sizes next to make sure we have the correct size for the vehicle before doing drop testing on the landing gear assembly using the new shocks. Earlier, we drop tested the initial shock absorbers along with the other suspension components, and will have to re-do that with the new shocks.
