Samson Sky Wins Flying Car Orders from, and GA Development Cooperation Deal with, Tajikistan

In this article, Urban Air Mobility News reported on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by Samson Sky and International Development ConsultantBakhtiyor Bahodurov during the “SAMSON SKY – Welcome to Central Asia” event in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

According to reporter Philip Butterworth-Hayes, the agreement calls for Samson Sky to assist the Tajikistan government with the development of General Aviation legislation intended to enable Switchblade Flying Cars to be registered and operated in the country. The MOU also covers the planned sale of 50 Switchblade vehicles valued at $11.5 million.

Butterworth-Hayes reported that the agreement includes pilot training programs, access to Samson Sky’s flight simulators, mechanic training, and replacement parts to support local operation and maintenance of the vehicles.

The agreement represents a broader cooperation effort involving not only the potential introduction of Switchblade vehicles into Tajikistan, but also development of the country’s general aviation regulatory framework, pilot training, and maintenance capabilities.
