SWITCHBLADE STROBES ARE FLASHING – June 19, 2020
This is what the Samson Switchblade strobe lights look like when operated. There is a flashing strobe, and the white constant light facing to the rear tells you whether an aircraft is going away from you or towards you at night. Shown here is the pilot side navigation light, which is red. Aviation lighting is similar to marine lighting – red lights on the left side and green lights on the right side. (This was shot in full daylight, with the hangar lights off.)
