We had an oiling system for the chain gear reduction to the prop for our prototype, but found that there is a well-proven spray-on wax lubrication that removes the necessity of an oiling system. We like it as it simplifies our assembly and should give the same performance. Here Sean Bliss is spraying on the wax which goes on like foam but then penetrates and shrinks down to a thin film coating.
