We had a deeper pocket in the rear bulkhead for the new engine, so had to re-do the fire protection on the bulkhead. We are installing Fiberfrax (a refractory ceramic based fiber paper) against the bulkhead, and placing an aluminum sheet over that to protect it from damage and oils in the engine bay. The Fiberfrax is capable of withstanding temps to 2,300 degrees F.
